BEST ABSTRACT AWARD
The Organizing Committee of “2^nd International Chemistry Conference, Chemistry Today – 2019” is pleased to offer a Best Abstract Award for the top abstract submission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The eligible criteria for the Best Abstract Award is as under, Poster presenter must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract Candidates should be registered for the event. Poster author or presenters have to attend the Symposium.

Award The successful candidate may receive the following rewards: Souvenir of Best Abstract Award Certificate of Best Abstract Award Complimentary Registration for a future Advanced Multiple Symposium of the contestant’s choice

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The poster presenters are requested to follow the instruction to avoid inconvenience and unnecessary delay. You are also requested to bring the printed poster with you to the Conference. Only the accepted abstracts of fully registered and paid presenters will be included in the final Conference program.

Poster Preparation The poster layout is Portrait. It is recommended that poster be prepared on one sheet of poster paper. The poster should be fit to the given dimension. The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 1.2m long (35.5 inches wide x 47 inches long). Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract – as illustrated below. The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet). Materials will be available for the mounting of posters. The Final Program Book will be given upon arrival at the Conference. The poster board number will be appropriately assigned before inauguration of the Conference. All poster presenters are requested to use and stay with the same board number. That will be more convenient to administration, poster judges and participants.

Information for presentations The Posters will be on display for all the time duration of the day of Conference. Posters may be mounted from the start of the day and should be removed after sessions on same day. Poster presenters should stand next to their posters during the coffee and lunch breaks for informal demonstration and/ or Q&A. Potential Contribute of conference and the organizers thereof will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time or that are damaged.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKER

All presenters are requested to follow the speaker, presenter or author guidelines for writing and submitting the abstract or manuscript. The abstract should be comprised of most current information of the selected topic. It should be relevant to the theme and scope of the Conference. Add the advanced and relevant informative as possible. The standard abbreviations may be used to enhance the comprehension of the abstract.

We don’t accept diagrams/ tables/ images at initial stage. However, these may be added when submitting the paper and presenting poster or oral talk in Conference.

We need following information along with the submission of soft file of abstracts,

Contact details of Author’s i.e. email, phone number, postal address etc.
Complete detail of Author's and co-Authors (Full first and family name(s), email).
Details of professional, scientific or academic affiliation - institution / company/ University, city, state (if relevant), country.
Title of the Abstract.
The abstract should not exceed 250 words and 1500 characters.
Choose the title of abstract or presentation related to the listed topics.
Each word of the title should begin with a capital letter with the exception of transition words.
The length of Abstract body should be no longer than 300 words in total.

During the initial days of the establishment of Pakistan in 1947, the means for higher education and research were diminished in the country. Thus, the impending requirement of higher learning, Pakistan Government started establishing relevant educational institutions of higher learning and research and thus underwent rapid modernization under a policy guided by Prime Minister. After a heavy political lobbying backed by the residents of Karachi, the University of Karachi was established through parliamentary authorization as a "Federal University" in 1951. So, the University of Karachi is one of the oldest universities in Pakistan with a student body of 24,000 full-time students and a campus size spanning over 1200 acres, Karachi University is Pakistan's largest university with a distinguished reputation for multi-disciplinary research in science and technology, medical research and social sciences. The university spans over 53 Departments and 19 world-class research institutes operating under nine faculties.[9] There are over 800 academics and more than 2500 supporting staff working for the university.

The Department of Chemistry, University of Karachi is going to organize an event with the theme “Chemistry Today”. This congregation may bring considerable changes over developing interest in current era of advancement in technologies through basic subjects. Karachi Sindhi is the capital of Sindh province of Pakistan. It is the most populous city in Pakistan and sixth-most-populous city proper in the world. Ranked as a beta world city, the city is Pakistan's premier industrial and financial centre and is considered as the cultural, economic, philanthropic, educational, and political hub of the country. Karachi is also Pakistan's most cosmopolitan city. Situated on the Arabian Sea, Karachi serves as a transport hub, and is home to Pakistan's two largest seaports, the Port of Karachi and Port Bin Qasim, as well as the Pakistan's busiest airport, Jinnah International Airport.

Though the Karachi region has been inhabited for millennia, the city was founded as the fortified village of Kolachi in 1729.The settlement drastically increased in importance with the arrival of British East India Company in the mid 19th century, who not only embarked on major works to transform the city into a major seaport, but also connected it with their extensive railway network. By the time of the Partition of British India, the city was the largest in Sindh with an estimated population of 400,000.[18] Following the independence of Pakistan, the city's population increased dramatically with the arrival of millions of Muslim refugees from India The city experienced rapid economic growth following independence, attracting migrants from throughout Pakistan and South Asia.

Participants from certain countries may require a visa in order to travel to Pakistan. Participants are requested to check with their local Pakistani Consulate/Embassy well in advance of their travel date. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa as necessary.

The major goal of this event is to highlight the significance of chemistry as a foundation subject of every field of science and technology. This fundamental discipline is currently undermined. Therefore; the aim and objective of this conference is to find out the solution, how to make chemistry interesting, easy and attractive for primary level learner who always showed interest in joining technologies. They faced trouble during learning because of unawareness to basic level subjects. Moreover; this meeting will also discuss how to bring revolution from existing artificial intelligence to real intelligence, over developing interest in current era of advancement in technologies through basic subjects.

Hence, we would like to express my gratitude to all scientific world community to participate and share your experiences in this mega event through paper submission /become a part of Conference / conduct workshop. We have three workshops related to the elementary level to advances in Chemistry in the current modern period. Dr Rafia Azmat

Dr. Rafia Azmat started her career after her Master in Physical Chemistry from Department of University of Karachi in 1982 as lecturer in Private Girls College. Later on when college is upgraded as first University of Pakistan, She started her research program to compete the level of University. She was awarded M.Phil. and Ph.D. from University of Karachi. She has a strong academic, teaching and research background now due to her countless efforts in field of Science and technology. She has a number of credits and honors in her career. She build research structure in new University and proved it by supervising 5 Ph.Ds and 3 MS from Jinnah University of women in minor research facilities with poor infra structure. She is also puts her efforts in establishing the semester cell in new charted university followed by establishment of BASR. The research and development is in continuation after Joining University of Karachi in 2011 where she won NRPU project from HEC. She supervised 6Ph.Ds and 2 MS under her supervision with three more Ph.ds in co-supervision with his respected supervisor in University of Karachi. Two Ph.Ds are about to submit while two are on way of progress. Her collaboration is also at national and international reputable universities.

She is engaged continuously in organizing the international events like Conference, seminar, and conferences and also act as a member of program committees and as international organizers. She presents Pakistan at national and international level with HEC and foreign funding. She has more 130 papers in national and international journals with high impact factor, 5 patent filed (out of which three are revised and submit to grant), 3 Books, 6 chapters published in international publishing agencies like Springer.. She has 10 Scopus h index. She is member of different scientific Societies including ACS. She has PCST award of different categories in her credit. She developed two new advance Ph.D. Courses, i) Photochemistry and Photobiologyii) Ecological chemistry in University of Karachi. Her name is included in the Directory of Productive Scientists of Pakistan. She also participate in the infra structure development of University of Karachi and her proposal was included in the PC1 of University.

On behalf of the “Organizing Committee” of the event entitled “2^nd International Chemistry Conference, Chemistry Today - 2019” we invites the submission of abstracts for Oral Research and Poster Presentations. The submissions are accepted online before the deadline June 30, 2019. These will be forwarded to the Conference chairs for review.

The submissions are only accepted for oral and/ or poster presentation in clear English with grammar and spelling of a quality suitable to publish in accredited research journals.

The abstracts sent through regular mail, submitted by fax or e-mailed will not be considered and accepted for review and presentation.

Moreover, please avoid the submission of multiple copies of same scientific abstract.

The corrected and revised version of same abstract should also be submitted online. Please mention the given ID/ Registration/ Abstract number every time when you resubmit the corrected or revised version of your manuscript. That will help us to access your information in our record and track the previously submitted abstract/s.
